Common questions

Is student data safe?

You sign in with Google. The upload is used to build the Form and is not stored afterward. Responses stay in Forms and Sheets under your school account and admin policies.

Does auto-grading work?

Yes. The output is a normal Google Form - turn on quiz mode, set points, and auto-grade multiple-choice and checkbox items like any hand-built quiz.

What about scanned tests?

Best results come from native PDFs and Word files. Scans can work when text is sharp and typed; blurry photos or heavy handwriting hurt accuracy. If you struggle to read the page, the conversion will too.

Does it cost anything?

The first form is free, no credit card. Credit packs follow. The project is open source for schools that self-host.

Can several teachers in my department use it?

Each person uses their own Google account; forms save to their Drive. Workspace for Education accounts work like you'd expect for sign-in and creation.
